A 3.0ltr (2997cc) engine used in the Honda Odyssey from 2000 to 2004 was the J30A. The J30A uses a V6 SOHC VTEC system to produce 206hp (154kw) @ 5,800rpm and 199 ft.lb (270Nm) of torque @ 5000rpm. The V6 J30A was also used in the Honda Accord but ran a lower compression rate and only produced 147kw. The J30A has also been known to be put into Civics, although would not be cost effective for a daily driver. Bigger V6 ‘J’ series engines were used in overseas models but were not used in Australia. These engines were called the J32A (3.2ltr) and the J35A (3.5ltr)
